| Abstract |
This dissertation analyzes the unemployment level in Cyprus and how unemployed individuals could become self employed and become start ups. One of the main macroeconomics concerns of the Cyprus government is the increasing unemployment rate due to the financial crisis. This research study, performs an investigation of the existing opportunities available for unemployed individuals to start up small businesses and how this subsequently leads to lowering the rate of unemployment rate of unemployment. In order to achieve a decrease the unemployment rate effectively by start ups under the present circumstances, further investigation will be carried out on every aspects of the legislation, market opportunity studies, start up plans, procedures, risks, and funding.
